1. SKETCHES

Sketches, pages and pages of sketches on my sketching template. Refining lines and creating the overall style and appearance.

Then the details. Making the knife look just as good closed as open and considering features that set it apart.

2. 3D Print

Into the computer for a basic 3D print model to test comfort and size. Quick, iterative prints that can be easily altered to test comfort, features and various hand sizes. Multiple prints to get the main features and sizes locked in.

3. Detailed CAD

Lock geometry, stop pins, contours, blade grinds, bearings, back spacers, hardware, pocket clips.

Detailed, refined 3D prints to test comfort, function and manipulation of every element.

4. Production Ready Files

Final CAD. Production ready files for manufacturers and detailed renderings or Concept Presentations.
